GENERAL TERMS AND LIST OF UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS

General Terms

Additional fees will be charged if customer does not adhere to our terms.(See below)

YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO WILL BE KEPT ON FILE UNTIL DUMPSTERS ARE INSPECTED AND APPROVED FOR RELEASE.

-Container may not be moved once we place it.

-Container may not be placed in street unless you obtain a permit.

-15 Square Shingle Limit.

-Waste must stay below top of Container.

-Container may not be overloaded(we reserve the right to refuse pick up plus additional fees apply).

-Yard Waste may not be mixed with construction debris. You must order Dumpsters specifically for Yard Waste .

-Customer assumes responsibility for damage to dumpster units while on your property and you will be charged accordingly.

-Customer must provide details and describe rubbish that is being disposed of.

-Demolition Dumpsters is not responsible for materials that may "stick" to Dumpster from a previous customer in any event(wet, freezing)

Additional Fees

If a customer’s location is obstructed for any reason and We cannot place or pick-up Dumpster,  customer will be charged an additional $100.00 fee.

Customer must give 24 hour notice for any cancellations: $ 50 fee for non-compliance.

If a customer damages Dumpster, including the exterior surface paint and the walls, floor, door, and any moving parts of the dumpster,  customer will be charged for all costs of repairs incurred by Demolition Dumpsters for each incident. 

A CUSTOMER IS NEVER PERMITTED TO MOVE DUMPSTER WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL. If a customer moves Dumpster without Our prior approval, a customer will be charged a $250.00 moving fee and all costs incurred by Demolition Dumpsters to repair and / or retrieve Demolition Dumpster for each incident

Unacceptable Items

  • Appliances with Freon

  • Asbestos

  • Chemotherapeutic waste

  • Drums, barrels, buckets and other containers unless lids have been removed and interiors are cleaned and free of residue in accordance with The Authority's "Empty Container Policy"

  • Explosive and ordnance materials

  • Gas cylinders, unless empty and delivered separate from other solid waste

  • Hazardous waste

  • Infectious/pathological or biological waste. For more information regarding the Authority's "Medical Waste Disposal Policy" call 614-871-5100.

  • Liquid waste, including motor oil and water-based paint*

  • Lead acid batteries

  • Motor vehicles and major motor vehicle parts such as:

    • Agricultural and farm machinery and equipment

    • Frames

    • Large equipment or machinery

    • Marine vessels and major parts thereof

    • Rear ends

    • Springs and fenders

    • Transmissions

  • Petroleum contaminated soils, (May be accepted with approval of Executive Director)

  • Radioactive materials
